Yes! We love to share what each crystal item can help you with, so we make sure that your every crystal purchase includes a card that explains the meaning of your purchase.

They certainly are! If you purchase your crystals from us, you can rest assured knowing we provide crystals which rate higher than 5 on Moh’s hardness scale. This means that the crystals won’t break apart or dissolve when placed in water, so you won’t be drinking any foreign particles. Our crystals are safe, non-toxic and have been professionally cut and sealed!

Crystals are powerful earth elements that harness energy. Cleansing them can remove any old or stagnant energies, and helps maximize the benefits they provide. There are many ways to cleanse, care for, and charge your crystals. This comes down not only to your personal preference, but also to the type of crystal you have purchased.

Some crystals are water and/or UV sensitive so please do your research before immersing your crystals in liquids or salt water, or exposing them to sunlight for extended periods.

• Cleaning: If dusty or soiled, we recommend cleaning your crystals with a light microfiber cloth or toothbrush (for raw crystals). Check out this short video.
• Cleansing and Charging: There’s really no “right” or “wrong” when it comes to cleansing and charging your crystals. But you can use this Nature & Nurture list to cleanse your crystals whenever you desire.

We do our best to ensure all our products are ethically and sustainably sourced from all over the world. Our main crystal supplier is in Brazil, and we have a long-standing relationship with them solely because their philosophy is based on Fair Trade.

Fair Trade means respecting people and the world through consciously-made products. They encourage fair labour conditions, environmental sustainability, a fair price, and direct trade.

Some of our smaller suppliers are family-owned businesses across Africa, India, and Bali.

Ethically-sourced crystals often cost more, but we think these factors are very important to consider especially when selecting tools for healing and therapeutic purposes!

Crystals that come from the earth are beautiful because they are all uniquely different in colour, size, and pattern. We do our best to provide the most accurate piece of crystal we have but please expect a bit of variation as not all crystals are exactly the same.

Almost all our stones are natural but a few are either manmade or need human help to achieve their shape and/or colour. These include:

1. Goldstone is glass containing ground-up metals or minerals.
2. Aura quartzes are natural quartz exposed to metallic vapor.
3. Turquoise is often reconstituted, meaning it’s real turquoise that’s been ground up and formed into its shape.
4. Very bright blue or pink agate slices are usually the result of a natural stone being dyed.
5. Crackle Quartz starts as regular quartz and is heated to give its characteristic webbing pattern over the crystal’s surface.

Maintaining your bottle is super easy and hassle free. Simply unscrew the base of the bottle which holds your crystal. We recommend running the crystal under water, and wiping it down with a clean, soft cloth. While you’re at it, take your crystal outside – either leave it under the full moonlight or in the sun to give your crystal and energetic cleansing and recharging. The bottle itself can be placed in the dishwasher for easy cleaning, just be sure to clean the lid by hand!

We use food safe stainless steel wires to secure the crystal in place.
